My son Stefano and I moved from Torino, in the North West of Italy, to Gozo in 2013, after coming here on holiday several times. The reason behind this is that we fell in love with the people, the way of life, the sea and its bottom (both of us enjoy diving) that this island was offering us.
Here we noticed that Italian cooking is well known and courses reproduced are mainly belonging to the South of Italy. We've hardly had the pleasure to taste some of the recipes from the North, with the exception of the pesto, deservedly loved by both tourists and locals. In order to supply to this absence, we would like to introduce some of the traditional courses from the North of Italy and, at the same time, offer the favourite local ingredients (excellent fish, savoury meat, ripe vegetables...) but cooked in a new way, following our own special style.
We should like to make you try new exciting flavours, make you discover unknown virtues of already famous food in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where to spend happy hours.
